A Language of Our Own| Promoting Hindi at IIMB
IIM Bangalore has been presented the Rajbhasa Award by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Bangalore. The award was presented on 27th July , 2017 at the ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore.
The Hindi Cell at IIMB organises several activities every year such as competitions, workshops Hindi Day/Hindi Fortnight celebrations, computer programmes in Hindi, besides implementing the Annual Programme of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language, Government of India. Â Apart from organising various activities to promote the usage of Hindi, Official Language Shields have also been instituted to promote the progressive use of the official language.
