Karan Bajaj, alumnus of IIM Bangalore, Class of 2002, founder of the Ed-tech startup, WhiteHat Jr, has raised USD 10 million in its Series A round of financing, led by existing investors venture capital firm Nexus Venture Partners and Omidyar Network, the philanthropic investment firm set up by Ebay founder Pierre Omidyar. White Hat Jr helps youngsters aged between 6 to 14 construct commercial-ready video games, animations and apps on-line utilizing the basics of coding.
