IIMB Alumni Association Launches its Mobile App
Dr. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, launched the IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA) mobile app, on 15th September.

Pawan Sachdeva, PGP 1996, awarded EcoFriend Award
Mr. Pawan Sachdeva, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (PGPโ96) has been awarded ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐, by the National Environment Agency, Singapore in recognition of his work ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐.
The EcoFriend Awards was introduced by the National Environment Agency in 2007, to individuals who have selflessly put in their time and effort to contribute to Singaporeโs clean and green environment.
Pawan, Member- Tanjong Rhu Neighborhood Committee, received his EcoFriend award for the ๐๐จ๐ง-๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐ฌ) & ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ. He has been recognised for his work in the field of water conservation for condominiums and various sustainability related activities in his neighborhood area such as neighborhood cleanups and community recycling drives. Alumni Author Bhaswar Mukherjee Felicitated by Ukiyoto Publishing
Bhaswar Mukherjee was felicitated by the Ukiyoto Publishing House for his book The Counterfeiter : Abdul Karim Telgi and the Stamp Scam. He was honored as an emerging author in the non-fiction category. The event was held on the 16th of October, 2022.

Alumni Author Sandeep Das book How Business Storytelling Works now textbook at IIM Lucknow
Sandeep Das, alumnus of IIMB has added yet another cap to his achievements. His latest book How Business Storytelling Works has been adapted as an textbook by the prestigious IIM Lucknow for communications and storytelling.

Anusmaran: Celebrating IIMB’s Engagement with its Illustrious Alumni
Mumbai Chapter
The Mumbai chapter of Anusmaran, the annual IIM Bangalore alumni meet, was held on 17th September 2022 at V Lounge & Deck, Mumbai. Around 100 alumni of the institute attended the event. Dr. Sourav Mukherji, Dean, Alumni Relations & Development and faculty of the OB-HRM area, Utanka Sarma, Head โ Alumni Relations, and Harish Mittal (PGP 1988), President, IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA), were also present at the event.
In his address, Dr. Sourav Mukherji highlighted the latest achievements of the institute and shared the vision for IIMBโs golden jubilee celebrations. Utanka Sarma explained the different ways in which the alumni could engage with the institute further. Harish Mittal spoke about the upcoming initiatives of IIMBAA.
Delhi Chapter
The Delhi Chapter of the IIMB Alumni Association, in association with the National War Memorial, honored and celebrated the contribution of our Armed forces, as part of Anusmaran, on 1st October. Dr Chetan Subramanian, Professor Economics and Dean Faculty at IIMB was present. The event included a 10k and 5k run as well as 2.5k walkathon.
Hyderabad Chapter
The Hyderabad Chapter of Anusmaran was held from 7 pm on 24th September 2022 at The Golconda Hotel, Masab Tank, Banjara Hills Road, Hyderabad. Dr. Rajendra K Bandi, Dean, Administration and faculty from the Information Systems area, was present at the event.
