NSRCEL,IIMB and FITT,IITDelhi MoU to mentor start-ups
The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi have signed an MoU to jointly mentor start-ups at their respective incubation centres.
Professor G. Raghuram, Director, IIM Bangalore, said with the signing of the MoU, several areas of collaboration, between the two schools, had opened up. “Such a collaboration will help build a larger ecosystem to support start-ups in the country,” he said.
Professor V. Ramgopal Rao, Director, IIT Delhi, observed that one in four students at IIT Delhi aspires to be an entrepreneur. Dr Anil Wali, Managing Director, FITT, was also present at the signing.
The partnership was made possible by the alumni of the two institutions. A team of mentors from the alumni community of both institutions will mentor start-ups in the domains of technology and management across different geographies.
