Eco-warriors of IIMB – World Environment Day

There goes a saying by Tom Stoppard that “A healthy attitude is contagious but don’t wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier.” 

It may often happen that whatever you do may affect others in a positive way. You too can be a carrier of healthy attitudes. Everyone has the potentiality to brighten the day of many around us.  Every day can be one where the world becomes a little better place because you care to share a healthy attitude with others.

It is with this attitude that on World Environment Day on 5th June 2017, Prayaas, the social initiative wing of IIMB’s Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) took an effort to celebrate and recognize the dedication and efforts of the caretakers of IIM Bangalore campus – the gardeners, housekeepers, and technicians. It is because of these Eco-warriors that the campus gets to wear the serene and composed look, which makes IIMB conducive to learning thereby making it one of the most beautiful campuses in the world. “Prayaas” a social initiative of EPGP recognizes their efforts and conveys their heartfelt gratitude. Without them, it wouldn’t have been possible to keep the campus green, sustainable and eco-friendly. Their relentless hard work has helped in maintaining IIMB campus as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world.
