REUNION OF 1992 BATCH

PGP 1992 batch has celebrated their silver jubilee reunion on 28,29,30th July on the Campus. They were here with their families to relive and recall old memories and share their  life journeys. This batch was 190 in size and was one of the largest batches of those days. The batch was well known for its energy, enthusiasm and talent. 

On this happy occasion, tinged with so much nostalgia, the PGP 92 batch along with the alumni office organised The Director’s Address & High Tea on –

LECTURE TOUR AT HYDERABAD 2017 

The IIMBAA Hyderabad Alumni chapter organised a talk on 20th July at Lamakaan, an open cultural centre in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It was an engaging talk on “How great leaders inspire audiences” based on Rakesh Godwani’s (Adjunct Faculty, IIM Bangalore) recently released book “Public Speaking Kaleidoscope”. He also spoke about his research on how leaders impact audience through their words.


FINALS OF IICDC 
The final stage of India Innovation Challenge, Design Contest 2016, was hosted by NSRCEL at IIMB. The event was organised on Saturday, 22nd July 2017 at the IIMB Auditorium.

The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC) was launched by Texas Instruments India in association with the Department Of Science And Technology (DST) and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) to provide young tech entrepreneurs with an ecosystem and support to nurture their entrepreneurial spirit and an opportunity to leverage their talent and convert their innovation to a startup.

2500 projects were received and were submitted by 11,000 students across the country. The students went through a series of selection processes for the last one year. On this day, the prototypes of the Top 20 teams were seen so far , who have previously been awarded between 3 to 5 lakh of seed funding to develop their prototypes.

The awards ceremony took place at the auditorium, where the winning 10 teams were announced.
