SHRI DILEEP R, IPS Officer and Alumni of IIM Bangalore passes away

On December 30, 2022, Shri R. Dileep, IPS, DIG (EO) CID, passed away. He was a former student of IIMB’s Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (2017–18) and an IPS officer from the Karnataka cadre.

He studied BE (Instrumentation Technology) and was from Mysore. He started off as a member of the Karnataka State Police Service before being elevated to the IPS in 2005. He was also a classical musician.

We would like to express heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire IIMB community. We pray for the departed soul. Our condolence to his family in this moment of grief.
