RIP Vibhas Bhawan

With deep sadness, we have to inform you that Vibhas Bhawan, PGP 2001, passed away in a road accident on 19 September 2020.
On-campus, Vibhas was found on the back benches in classrooms, and at the front of festival celebrations and L-square parties.

After campus, he worked with companies like Sify, ITC Infotech, Tesco and others, before leaving corporate life in 2008. Vibhas was living in his village in eastern UP,  for the last few years.

Except for an older brother, he leaves behind no family. For his F-1st hostel mates, however, he will always be family.

We regret to inform you about the sad demise of David Nanmuansang Hangsing, PGP 2011, on 13th September 2020. David was working as a faculty member at the Pune Institute of Business Management. He was only 33 years old and is survived by his wife and two little daughters.

We would like to express my heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire IIMB community and wish that his family will be able to cope up with this loss.

IIMB PGP Batch 2009-11 has set up David Hangsing Memorial Fund in his memory to help David’s family and secure the future of his kids. We urge the alum community to come forward and help in this noble cause.
