In Memoriam

It is with sadness that we report that one of our PGPPM Alumnus (2008-10 batch), Shri KSR Charan Reddy passed away on Friday, 13th March, 2020. He was battling cancer for at least three years.

A 1993 batch IPS officer of Karnataka cadre, he hailed from Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. He was Additional Director General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, when he passed away. Known as a “no-nonsense” person in the department, he was known for his acumen in investigations.

Mr Reddy was posted in various senior positions in the Police in Bangalore city zones. He was always available to help IIMB, especially when we needed any support from the Bangalore police. On many occasions, he has promptly addressed the personal concerns of our community too.

We would like to express my heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire IIMB community and wish that his family will be able to cope up with this loss.

We deeply regret to inform the sad demise of our alum Deepankar Khiwani, PGP 1996-98 batch, on March 28, 2020. Deepankar was a well-known poet in the Mumbai literature community. DK, as his friends fondly called him will be missed dearly. May his soul rest in peace.

There is a page set up in his memory, where friends, family, and colleagues can share their memories and thoughts for Deepankar.
