Professor K Kumar, Dean, Alumni Relations & Development, IIM Bangalore has been honored in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Professor Kumar is also an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, 1981 batch. He has over 16 years of experience in the industry, holding positions of CEO, President, and Management Consultant in reputed organizations. He also started three companies before joining IIMB in 2001.

Ramya Venkateswaran (Fellow IIMB), Sourabh Pandya (Fellow IIMB) and Prof. Ganesh Prabhu’s paper wins Best Paper of the conference award in INDAM 2020. We wish them all a hearty congratulations.

Mr. Jaideep Nandi, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, Class of 1990, will be appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd effective January 2, 2020. He will also act as one of the Key Managerial Personnel of the Company.
Mr. Nandi started his career with Asian Paints in 1990 and grew in various roles in sales and marketing. Since 2001, he has held various senior management positions from being a General Manager & has lead CEO of various businesses and P&L at Asian Paints. He has been the CEO of the companies in Asian Paints Middle East and South East Asia operations. He is a commercially savvy leader who has delivered on challenging P & L objectives in his businesses and has a track record of turning around businesses and putting them on a path of profitable growth. 
Mr. Nandi was associated with Asian Paints PPG as its Chief Executive Officer from 2014 till October 2019. He is currently Vice President with the Asian Paints Group.

Thomas Govathoti, PGP 2000 from Hyderabad Chapter won the GOLD medal the finals and Tom’s team raced with host Thailand and Malaysia and bagged gold in the M4- event(men’s four). This qualifies this M4 crew to World Rowing Championships happening in Vienna, Austria Sept 2020. He played the main stroke(athlete in the front of the boat).
