Manufacturing Excellence: The Path to Make in India
Executive Education program is offering a program “Manufacturing Excellence: The Path to make in India” from 9th– 11th August 2017.
Details of the program: In today’s world, manufacturing is a diverse sector and contributes enormously to the global economy. With new perspectives such as “Make in India”, the manufacturing sector is expected to accelerate over the next few years. However much of this growth will be challenged by the willingness of foreign firms to outsource, increased labor content over mechanisation, availability of skilled manpower, investment decisions in capacity, etc. The program will help the participants in understanding the complexity and challenges in the manufacturing sector and would discuss the key decisions and the approach that a firm needs to adopt in such situations.
Start Date: 9th -11th August 2017
Who should attend: The program is designed for senior and middle-level executives involved in manufacturing strategy decisions. These are people who are responsible for either/both of matching market requirements or meeting the manufacturing needs of customers.
Program Director: Anshuman Tripathy is a faculty member in Operations Management. His early research, which continues today, dwells into how firms design their globally distributed product development organisations with particular focus on firms that are involved in the design and development of complex engineered systems.
The last date to register for this program is 30th June 2017.
