Prof. Deepti Ganapathy Featured on All India Radio for Earth Day

IIMB PhD Scholar Receives Best Paper Recognition at Academy of Management

IIM Bangalore doctoral scholar Aswathi Narikundil Jayan has received Best Paper recognition at the 86th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM), one of the world’s leading conferences for management and organization research.

The award-winning paper, “Staying True by Changing Course: Mission Evolution in Social Enterprises,” was co-authored with Dr. Srivardhini K. Jha, former Chairperson of NSRCEL and faculty in the Entrepreneurship area at IIMB. The study explores how social enterprises respond to changing environments and evolving stakeholder expectations while remaining aligned with their core mission and social objectives.

The research offers new insights into the relationship between strategic adaptation and mission continuity in purpose-driven organizations, contributing to a growing body of scholarship on social entrepreneurship. The recognition at AOM highlights the global relevance of research emerging from IIM Bangalore and underscores the Institute’s commitment to advancing impactful and internationally recognized scholarship.
