K. Sriram (PGP 1998) Featured in Light Beneath the Feet


K. Sriram, alumnus of the PGP 1998 batch, has been featured in a chapter of Light Beneath the Feet, a multi-author book that brings together a collection of voices and stories.
The book feature marks an important milestone in Sriramโs continuing engagement with writing and storytelling, adding a literary dimension to his professional journey. Sriramโs journey has also been marked by his ability to challenge conventional boundaries. His association with IIM Bangalore is particularly significant, as he was the first visually challenged student to enter the Institute, paving the way for greater inclusion and representation on campus.

Kapil Makhija, alumnus of the PGDM 2011 batch, has been part of an important international expansion involving Unicommerce and Urban Company, with the partnership now extending into the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The expanded collaboration will see Urban Company leverage Unicommerce’s Uniware platform to support its inventory and fulfilment operations in these markets. As Urban Company expands its international presence, robust inventory management and fulfilment capabilities will play an important role in enabling efficient and scalable operations across geographies.
The development is also indicative of the increasing global footprint of Indian technology-led businesses. Technology platforms developed in India are increasingly supporting companies as they enter new markets and build operations beyond the country.
