Snehal Shah, PGP 1995, Partner, Fairwinds Private Equity

Having graduated from one of the premier educational institutions in Asia, I was provided with a robust platform to pursue my desired career and shape it effectively. I firmly believe that everyone deserves access to a superior education. Unfortunately, financial constraints prevent many deserving students from accessing world-class institutes of higher education. I am committed to supporting these students in any way I can, and I am thankful to my alma mater, IIMB, for enabling me to do so. I extend my best wishes to IIMB and to the current and upcoming generations of students.

Debajyoti Ray Chaudhari, MD & CEO, National E-Governance Services Limited

National E-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) functions as an Information Utility (IU) that operates under the regulations of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) as outlined by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). The primary aim of establishing the IU was to eliminate information asymmetry, a major obstacle in achieving equitable negotiations between debtor and creditor in situations where the creditor is unable to fulfill its debt obligations. The concept of the IU, as envisioned in the Code, is unparalleled globally.

The Digital Document Execution (DDE) platform offered by NeSL enables digital execution, storage, and retrieval of contracts, signifying a significant move towards secure and hassle-free digital lending. The platform ensures compliance with legal requirements by obtaining e-stamps. The paperless and contactless nature of the platform not only enhances the customer experience but also contributes to promoting sustainability by eliminating the need for paper. As per our estimates, the DDE platform has saved more than 2500 trees to date.

Promoting cleaner and more environmentally-friendly transportation systems is a necessary step towards a sustainable future. As part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, NeSL funded the installation of an EV charging station at IIM Bangalore. The station was inaugurated on February 23, 2023, in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble President NCLT, Chief Justice (Retd) Shri Ramlingam Sudhakar, Hon’ble Justice Kannan Ramesh, Judge, Appellate Division, Supreme Court of Singapore, and Judge, Singapore International Commercial Court, Chairperson IBBI, Shri Ravi Mital, Dr. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, Whole Time members of IBBI, Shri Sudhaker Shukla and Shri Jayanti Prasad, EDs of IBBI, ED of NeSL Smt E.
