Celebrating IIMB Alumni: Mario Gonsalves and Kshitij Sheth Named in ET 40 Under Forty

Congratulations to Mario Gonsalves (PGP 2010), MD & Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Kshitij Sheth (PGP 2011), MD at ChrysCapital, for being featured in the prestigious ET 40 Under Forty list of India’s brightest young leaders.

IIMB Alumni Dr. Ammar Raza Syed Awarded Fellowship

Dr. Ammar Raza Syed has been awarded a Fellowship of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians, UK. This honor, presented in London, recognizes his exceptional professional achievements and peer acclaim.

Dr. Syed, an IIM Bangalore (EGMP 2009) alumnus and a Fellow of Clinical Pharmacology (ACCP, USA), has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, including roles in the biopharmaceutical industry across emerging markets. His extensive career includes clinical practice in India and Libya, and over two decades in biopharma, focusing on medical affairs, clinical development, and pharmacovigilance.

His significant contributions to clinical trials, real-world evidence studies, and numerous publications reflect his impact in the field. Dr. Syed’s dedication and expertise have earned him several industry and healthcare awards.


IIMB Alumnus Khet Singh’s ClaimBuddy Secures $5 Million in Series A Funding

ClaimBuddy, the health insurance start-up founded by Khet Singh Rajpurohit, an IIM Bangalore alumnus from PGP 2021, has successfully raised $5 million in Series A funding. The investment round was led by Titan Capital, with participation from LV Angel Fund, First Cheque, and several individual investors.

This significant funding boost will enable ClaimBuddy to expand its operations across India and enhance its technological infrastructure. The start-up, which has already processed claims worth over INR 15 crore and partnered with more than 50 hospitals in major cities, aims to streamline health insurance claim processing for both patients and hospitals.

Khet Singh, co-founder of ClaimBuddy, expressed his excitement about the investment, highlighting how it will help address inefficiencies in the insurance claim process and improve the overall patient experience. Titan Capital’s Bipin Shah praised ClaimBuddy’s role in advancing digital solutions within the healthcare sector.
