Meet Anjali Vaishal: Your Unofficial Guide to the Corporate Jungle Gym

“Hello! I’m Anjali. If my life could be summed up in a soundtrack, it would be the thrilling, upbeat score of an adventure film, echoing each high and low with a vibrant tune. Why? Because from the swivel chair of my office to the dynamic floors of global marketplaces, I’ve been navigating the corporate maze, sometimes running into dead ends, but more often finding hidden passageways that lead to new heights.

Now, you might wonder, “What’s someone with a tech background and a high-flying corporate resume doing in the world of coaching?” Great question! After nearly two decades of helping businesses scale new peaks—from IT and education to entrepreneurship and HR consulting— I realized that most of my success came through what I learned between the achievements, during the messiest of challenges. I’ve picked up a few tricks on turning challenges into stepping stones. And I thought, why not share these insights?

Let’s get something straight: I’m not your typical suit. I’ve been the P&L head at multi-million-dollar firms, where I was often the catalyst stirring the pot of innovation and transformation. Think of me as that person who’s not afraid to push the red button, shake things up, and see how we can make things better, faster, and more efficient.

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. I’ve learned that being at the top can sometimes feel like being the captain of a ship in a storm. You need to keep your cool, chart out the course, and sometimes, just ride the waves. That’s where the magic of coaching comes in. It’s not just about climbing the corporate ladder; it’s about enjoying the view and learning on the way up.

So, when I’m not cracking the biggest deals or championing diversity and inclusion strategies, you’ll find me sharing my playbook with up-and-coming leaders. Whether it’s through crafting personalized development plans or guiding strategic overhauls, my goal is simple: to help you navigate your path with fewer compass checks and detours.

Through the pages of this book, “Coach?? I Don’t Need One!!!” I invite you to join me on a journey of unpacking the myths and realities of corporate success. We’ll tackle common misconceptions, explore transformative success stories, and delve into how strategic coaching can be your secret weapon in navigating the corporate world. We’ll laugh at the absurdities, nod at the truths, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll find that having a coach in your corner is your secret weapon in conquering the corporate jungle.

So buckle up, and let’s get this adventure started. Who knows? By the end, you might even look forward to Mondays. (Okay, let’s not get too carried away!)
