Rakesh Godhwani, PGSEM 2004, adjunct faculty, IIM, has very recently launched a book named- ‘Public Speaking Kaleidoscope’.
Rakesh has authored three books. His latest book “What to Say and When to Shut Up!” was released in November 2014. Prior to academia, Rakesh worked in the corporate sector in various roles with Wipro, Intel, and Qualcomm. He left the corporate sector in 2008 to pursue his passion in teaching and writing. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Leadership Communication from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK. His research interests are on how some speeches make more impact than others and the role of communication in leadership.
This is the author’s fourth book and will help the readers to understand the various interconnected components of public speaking when viewed together from three broad academic lenses. Together, these lenses make a unique kaleidoscope for the reader to answer the question as to why some speeches are more impactful than others.
