Celebrating the Silver Jubilee of IIMB’s PGPEM Programme with Insights, Inspiration, and Impact

IIM Bangalore’s Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) marked its 25th year with the annual flagship business and cultural summit, Drishti 2024, held on 9 and 10 November. The two-day event was a celebration of innovation, leadership, and impactful strategies for a sustainable future. Themed “Insights to Impact: Shaping Business Strategies for Tomorrow,” the event brought together students, alumni, business leaders, and visionaries for vibrant discussions and workshops.

Drishti 2024 was a perfect blend of business, technology, and culture. The summit featured an impressive lineup of panel discussions, case competitions, and speaker sessions, focusing on topics like human capital management, financial inclusion, adaptive leadership, and startup ecosystems. The event emphasized creating sustainable strategies while celebrating unconventional career journeys.

The highlight was the keynote address by Pankaj Rai, Group Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Aditya Birla Group, who encouraged attendees to adopt evolving career frameworks. He shared his philosophy of the “5 Cs”—Curiosity, Compassion, Conviction, Creativity, and Communication—and challenged conventional career trajectories, urging participants to “forge unique paths.”

Guest speaker Dr. Rhonda Duffy, Executive Vice President at Biocon Biologics, shared her journey of leadership rooted in family values. She inspired attendees with her insights into authentic leadership and operational excellence.

The summit also showcased startup stories by Upamanyu Borkakoty, Founder of Woolah Tea, and Madhu Kargund, Founder of Tengin, alongside a masterclass on workforce strategies led by HR leaders from Wipro, Biocon, TVS Lucas, and Ather Energy.

Concluding the summit, Bollywood singer Papon delivered an electrifying performance, making Drishti 2024 a memorable celebration of innovation, leadership, and collaboration.
