Yoga enthusiast, Kranthi Kiran, PGP 2006-2008, when asked about his thoughts on yoga and its meaning, he replied ” Yoga helps me in keeping my body active and stilling my mind. It helps me in bringing clarity to my everyday activities, being a witness and seeing things as they are and not as I want them to be. And using breath as a tool, Yoga brings awareness and allows me to slow down and be in the present all the time”.
He also added that “I was recently invited to be part of the 3rd International day of Yoga celebrations in our IIMB Campus and asked to demonstrate asanas and share my journey with the students and faculty. Yoga must not be limited to just a sport or an exercise. While the physical aspect of Yoga (asana) definitely helped me in being more aware of my body, it is the other aspects surrounding the physical practice that has greatly benefitted me”.
Dr. Anil Reddy: Dr. Anil Reddy is an MBBS, MRCGP, MSC of LIFESTYLE DISEASE and is also a consultant in diabetes and lifestyle diseases from the UK.
