Aligned with India’s future vision, the program focuses on providing accessible, industry-oriented, quality education. It aims to create self-motivated, digitally savvy graduates ready to tackle industry challenges. Prof. Vasanthi Srinivasan highlighted the program’s innovative pedagogy and emphasis on practical application.

IIM Bangalore Staff Retreat 2024: A Memorable Event

IIM Bangalore’s staff enjoyed a rejuvenating and bond-building experience during the annual Staff Retreat, organized by the Human Resources department and the Staff Recreation Club (SRC). Held on May 24 and 25, 2024, the event spanned two locations: Sugee Resort and IIMB’s new campus in Jigani.

Day One at Sugee Resort began with a hearty breakfast, setting the tone for a day filled with team-building and recreational activities. These activities focused on stress management, unity, collaboration, communication, delegation, multitasking, problem-solving, time management, decision-making, and team effort. Such engagements helped staff get to know each other better, foster one-on-one interactions, and boost collaboration, trust, and strategic planning skills.

After a delightful lunch and high tea, the staff moved to the new IIMB campus, where more enjoyment awaited. The evening featured a live music performance by Sunil Koshy, an award-winning singer, composer, and vocal coach. Koshy, co-founder of ‘From Mug to Mike,’ has collaborated with legends like KS Chithra and Hariharan. IIMB staff members, including team leaders and managers, joined him on stage, singing and dancing together, creating a joyous and memorable evening.

On Day Two, the staff had an early start. One group went trekking around the new campus, while others explored its scenic beauty. After breakfast, the invigorated staff returned to the IIMB Bannerghatta Road campus, feeling refreshed and more connected.
