On behalf of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Dr. Rajendra K Bandi, Dean Administration, handed over medical supplies and equipment, totalling Rs 20 lakh, as part of the Institute’s CSR activity, to Dr Krishnappa B K,  Senior Medical Officer, Kodichikkanahalli PHC, on January 20th, in a brief open-air meeting that followed COVID protocols, on campus. This initiative of IIM Bangalore supports the Primary Health Centre in Kodichikkanahalli, which is in Bommanahalli zone, in upgrading its current medical infrastructure.

“This PHC is in closest proximity to IIM Bangalore and this effort is to help the community in the vicinity of the Institute,” said Dr. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore.

“The medical team from Kodichikkanahalli PHC has also been very proactive throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and has helped the Institute by conducting over 4,000 RTPCR tests and holding a vaccination camp. We, as an Institute, believe in acknowledging their efforts and giving back to the community, especially in these challenging times,” said Professor Bandi.

Students of IIMB host Indriya’22

The students of IIM Bangalore hosted Indriya’22 on 25th-26th January 2022. This virtual event gave everyone the opportunity to experience the magic of Indian cultural art forms. This year, they brought a coveted line-up of exemplars from the world of classical music and dance. To avoid the digital fatigue caused by the COVID pandemic, Indriya’22 was spread over two days this year.
