Adani Group and IIM Bangalore Launch Full-Fee Leadership Scholarships for Future Business Trailblazers


The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), in collaboration with the Adani Group and the IIMB Development Foundation, has launched the Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP) Scholarship to nurture outstanding management talent. Valued at ₹1.56 crore, the initiative will fully fund tuition for six students of IIMB’s Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) each year, empowering them to pursue excellence without financial barriers.
At the launch, Mr. Karan Adani, Managing Director, Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd., highlighted the Group’s vision of cultivating leaders equipped for India’s growth story. Prof. U. Dinesh Kumar, Director In-charge, IIMB, noted that such partnerships enrich learning through industry engagement. Designed under Adani’s leadership development initiative, AALP aims to combine academic rigor with real-world exposure, building a strong pipeline of responsible, future-ready leaders.
IIM Bangalore Alumni Association Hosts Global Mobility Summit 2025 to Redefine the Future of Transportation

The IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA), through its Mobility Special Interest Group (SIG), convened thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers at the Global Mobility Summit 2025 to explore the evolving landscape of transportation.
Set against a backdrop where sustainability intersects with disruption, the summit examined how technology, electrification, and resilience are reshaping global mobility. Industry experts discussed the challenges and opportunities of creating smarter, greener, and more inclusive transport systems.
The event served as a platform for IIMB alumni and industry professionals to exchange insights on emerging trends—from EV adoption and AI-driven logistics to urban mobility innovation. Through this initiative, IIMBAA reaffirmed its commitment to driving conversations that influence business, policy, and innovation in one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy.
IIM Bangalore Welcomes 61 Global Exchange Students to a Vibrant Academic Term





The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) welcomed 61 international students from 23 leading management schools across 12 countries for Term V of the 2025–26 academic year. Organized by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), the orientation blended academic insights with a celebration of India’s cultural diversity.
Prof. U. Dinesh Kumar, Director-In-Charge, encouraged students to embrace both intellectual and cultural exploration during their time in India. Prof. Manaswini Bhalla, Chairperson, PGP & PGP-BA, highlighted the institute’s academic rigor and community life. Speakers from IIMB’s wellness, student affairs, and administrative offices introduced support systems designed to foster inclusion, safety, and well-being on campus.
The event concluded with a cultural showcase, offering students a lively glimpse into India’s artistic heritage and setting the tone for an enriching exchange experience at IIM Bangalore.
