How an MBA in Enterprise Management is changing to adapt to shifting Global Realities

Notwithstanding the disruptions we have had in the recent past – the Covid-19 pandemic, the recent stand-offs among nations, and with possible economic implications from the risk of an impending global recession, we still live and work in a largely globalized world. Whether or not the liberalized and globalized world is retreating with restrictions being imposed on free trade, sharing of thoughts and ideas is a matter of debate. Tag that with the concerns surrounding climate change, the inevitable growth of AI, the global pandemic, etc. and we suddenly view global business schools grappling with emergent concerns on what it encompasses for academia to sync with the needs of the industry within a largely shifting global reality. While recent events and concerns have consequences that lead us to contextual complexities, imminent change and disruption as a part of the routine, the industry-academic outlook towards B-school education is also changing with increasing demands to produce leaders who are rooted to face these shifting global realities and are market-ready to manage the business, government, and societal implications while focussing on creating and running ethical and responsible businesses. 

An MBA in Enterprise Management is one of the most valued and sought after course for mid-career managers who invest their time and effort to re-engage in classroom and didactic learning to supplement their varied work experience and find meaning and direction to not only seek promotions or higher wages but often to move across specialisms, sometimes even sectors, to refresh their careers with renewed vigour.
