IIM Alumni SportsFest 2025

From the glow of the diya that set the tone to rallies, rebounds, and match points that brought the campus alive — IIM Alumni SportsFest 2025 was everything we hoped for and more.

Over two energising days, the IIM Bangalore campus transformed into a vibrant celebration of sport, spirit, and shared memories. Alumni from all IIMs, along with ISB and XLRI, came together not just to compete, but to reconnect — as professionals, founders, CXOs, leaders, and, most importantly, as classmates once again.

Sport was the common language, but the experience went far beyond the games. Across badminton courts, basketball matches, table tennis rallies, box cricket, futsal, volleyball, and chessboards, what stood out was the camaraderie. Different campuses, familiar energy. Fierce competition blended seamlessly with louder cheering, friendly rivalries, and conversations that picked up where they had left off years ago.

Thoughtfully designed age- and gender-based categories ensured inclusive participation, while premium sports gear, smooth on-ground coordination, meals, refreshments, goodie bags, and prizes added to the experience. Yet, it was the moments between matches — the laughter, storytelling, and shared nostalgia — that truly defined the weekend.

Hosted by the IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA), this first-of-its-kind SportsFest became a reminder of why alumni gatherings matter. Beyond medals and scorelines, it celebrated community, continuity, and the enduring IIM spirit that binds generations together.
