IIM Bangalore Student Wins Best Research Paper Award at IIT Bombay

A research study by IIM Bangalore doctoral student Charu Rastogi has won the Best Research Paper Award at the DSSE Entrepreneurship Day Symposium held at IIT Bombay in January 2026.

Co-authored with Dr. Srivardhini K. Jha, Chairperson of NSRCEL, the study—“From Emotion to Action: How Emotionally Resonant Triggers Shape Opportunity Individuation”—examines how emotional experiences influence early entrepreneurial action.

The research highlights how emotionally resonant triggers shape attention, guide sensemaking and identity formation, and sustain pre-venture action processes. As part of Charu’s doctoral dissertation, the work contributes to a deeper understanding of how entrepreneurs move from idea to action.
