EPGP โ€™27 takes learning beyond the classroom across Berlin, Madrid and Paris

The EPGP โ€™27 cohort embarked on a two-week International Immersion from 17 to 28 August 2026, travelling across Berlin, Madrid and Paris and experiencing three distinct business, cultural and social environments.

With academic engagements at ESCP Business School and ESSEC Business School, the 74-member cohort explored a wide range of themes through classroom sessions, industry visits, conversations with business leaders and entrepreneurs, and cultural experiences. Accompanied by faculty from IIM Bangalore across the three legs, students examined everything from intercultural management and sports policy to tourism, sustainability, entrepreneurship, geopolitics and strategy.

In Berlin, the cohort explored Germanyโ€™s business landscape through academic sessions and company visits, alongside experiences that offered insights into the cityโ€™s history and culture.

The Madrid leg brought perspectives on Spanish culture, football, sports policy, tourism and hospitality. Visits to Spainโ€™s National Sports Agency, the Santiago Bernabรฉu Stadium and the Marriott Auditorium & Conference Center complemented sessions on tourism, ESG and technology.

In Paris, students engaged with ESSEC Business School, entrepreneurs and business leaders, exploring culture and leadership, geopolitics, entrepreneurship, strategy and the business of Champagne.

Across the three cities, the immersion offered the cohort an opportunity to take concepts from the classroom into very different contexts, while experiencing how business, culture, policy and society intersect across markets.
