IIMB EPGP among Global Top 50 in QS MBA 2023 Ranking
The one-year fulltime Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management performs extremely well on parameters such as Return on Investment and Employability
The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), offered to experienced professionals by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), has been ranked at # 50 in the QS MBA 2023 Ranking.
With a score of 65.9 out of 100 in the 2023 edition, the programme performed amongst the top 17% globally out of 296 programmes surveyed in 47 countries.
In the APAC region, IIMB’s rank is # 10 out of 46 programmes surveyed with an overall score of 65.9. The programme performed amongst the top 22% regionally.
IIM Bangalore Best B-School – FT (MiM) Ranking 2022
The Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2022, released on September 12, 2022, named Indian Institute of Management Bangalore as India’s Best B-school, giving it yet another accomplishment to its resume. The school’s ranking has also significantly improved this year; IIMB is now ranked #31 globally in 2022, up from #47 in 2021. On criteria including instructors with doctorates, graduates’ weighted pay (US dollars), and graduates employed after three months, IIMB topped the FT MiM worldwide rating this year. “We are pleased that our commitment to excellence is continuously reflected in national and international rankings. The prominence and reputation of the university have increased as a result of IIMB’s leadership position in these rankings, according to IIMB Director Dr. Rishikesha T Krishnan.
One-Year EPGP Shines in Bloomberg Best B-Schools Survey 2022
The Bloomberg Best Business-Schools Survey 2022, released on September 16, 2022, placed the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore’s (IIMB) one-year full-time Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), as the best in India and the fifth-best in the APAC region. In the Bloomberg survey, the programme is India’s highest ranked option for seasoned professionals in the APAC area. An enormous improvement over last year’s results can be seen in the EPGP at IIMB’s performance on the parameters of learning (88.6), networking (83.5), and entrepreneurship (82). From 13.5 last year, the program’s overall score has skyrocketed to 66.4 this year. The amount paid also significantly increased (34.2) this year compared to last year (10.1).
MGNF Fellow nominated as Nodal Officer for the Yadgir Kaushalya Kendra
The Deputy Commissioner has proposed Archana, a Yadgir resident and Fellow of the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) programme, to serve as the nodal officer for the Yadgir Kaushalya Kendra, which would be established in the district with a budget of Rs 72 lakhs. She will supervise the district’s entire project’s execution. The project is a part of the NITI Aayog Aspirational Districts Program.
EPGP Team wins WINS HR Case Competition ‘Throne’ conducted by Symbiosis Institute of International Management, Pune
A team comprising Varsha Ramesh and K Arun Kumar, both students of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), batch of 2022-2023, have won the HR Case competition ‘Throne’, organized by Symbiosis Institute of International Management (SIIB), Pune. The award includes a Participation Certificate and a cash component.
FPM Candidate Pragati selected for GLO Virtual Young Scholars Program 2022-23
Pragati, a PhD candidate in the field of economics, has been chosen for the GLO Virtual Young Scholars Program 2022–2023. Through this programme, Pragati will virtually work with researchers in her field from different nations, and the result should be a research article by the program’s conclusion. The Global Labor Organization (GLO) is a significant international network of economists with a focus on labour market and other concerns. Young scholars can collaborate with distinguished scholars from all around the world through GLO’s Virtual Young Scholars Program (GLO VirtYS).
