Dr. Rusha Das Awarded Prestigious Grant by Zurich University of Applied Sciences

Dr. Rusha Das, IIMB Young Faculty Research Chair in the Public Policy area, has been awarded a prestigious grant by Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) for her co-developed proposal, “Local Environmental Democracy and Green Transitions: Mapping Institutional Mechanisms and Political Mobilisations.” This proposal, created in collaboration with Dr. Christine Lutringer from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, has been recognized for its innovative approach to exploring the intersection of environmental democracy and green transitions. The grant was awarded in response to ZHAW’s call for workshops and symposia in February 2024. This funding will support further research and workshops aimed at understanding the role of institutional mechanisms and political mobilizations in fostering sustainable environmental practices. Dr. Das’s work continues to strengthen IIM Bangalore’s reputation as a leader in impactful, policy-oriented research on global environmental challenges.

Dr. Sandeep Yadav Nominated for 2024 Rugman Most Promising Scholar Award

M. Joel Christopher, PhD Candidate, Showcases Research at Krea University’s Finance and Economics Symposium

PhD Scholar Kapil Gupta Awarded Travel Grant by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis

Kapil Gupta, a doctoral student in the Decision Sciences area at IIM Bangalore, has been honored with the International Society for Bayesian Analysis Nonparametrics Networking Travel Award. This recognition enables him to attend the 3rd BNP Networking Workshop in Singapore. Mareeswaran M Nominated for Best Paper Award at EFMA 2024
