IIMBue 2019, the Leadership Conclave organized by IIMBAA (Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Alumni Association) brought together a riveting 2-day experience for IIMB Alums at Taj Bangalore.
It was inspiring to see 1000+ alums making out time of their busy schedule and specially coming down to Bangalore for the Conclave. We saw a multitude of Speaker Sessions, Breakaway Sessions, Speed-Networking Sessions and much more. We have tried providing a few glimpses of the sessions below:
- Sister Shivani: She provided an insightful view on the Tectonic changes in the world and how we should stay recharged and powerful in the fast-changing world. The talk also involved the problems faced in implementing these aspects in one’s life and how to overcome them.
- Sonam Wangchuk: Mr. Sonam, the real face of Ranchoddas of 3 idiots talked about his school at Ladakh and how he has changed the face of education over there. Additionally, he also showered ideas to scale his brainchild school to other parts of the nation.
- Ramesh Aravind: Ramesh Aravind, a versatile personality talked about Filmmaking and his career in the field. He laid emphasis on the thought process of a Filmmaker and how that could be carefully utilized in other professions as well.
- Arunachalam Murugunanthan: A very humble person, Mr. Arunachalam, the real Pad Man talked about ‘Changing lives through Ingenuity’ and went on to explain that one need not be Big to make a Big Change. It was an inspiring session for all, especially for the social entrepreneurs in the house.
- Finally, we ended the show with a Speed Networking session, wherein participants interacted as pertheir interest areas, which ranged from sustainable energy to investing to
Lastly, someone has rightly said, “Networking is not about just connecting people. It’s about connectingpeople with people, ideas and opportunities without losing the fun aspect out of it.”
