Honouring the Memory of Col. Akash Sachan (EPGP 2011)

We are saddened to inform the alumni community of the passing of Col. Akash Sachan, a member of the EPGP 2011 batch, on 18th April 2025, after a brave and prolonged battle with cancer.

Akash had a distinguished career with the Military Engineering Services before joining IIM Bangalore. After graduating, he worked with Cummins and GE before founding Energrid Pvt. Ltd., an EPC firm in the solar energy sector. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to clean energy were truly inspiring.

He was a respected and much-loved member of the EPGP cohort. Many batchmates stayed closely connected with him, offering support during his illness and meeting him in his final days.

Akash is survived by his father, sister, and brother. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and pray for strength and peace during this difficult time.
