In Memoriam
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of members of the IIM Bangalore community. We remember them with respect and gratitude for their contributions and the lives they touched.
Guhesh Ramanathan (PGP 1988)

Mr. Guhesh Ramanathan, former Chief Operating Officer of NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, and alumnus of the PGP Class of 1988, passed away recently.
An author, mentor, and committed enabler of innovation, Mr. Ramanathan played a significant role in nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and institution-building. His contributions extended beyond IIM Bangalore to the broader academic and entrepreneurial ecosystem, including his tenure as CEO of IIM Visakhapatnam’s Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (FIELD).
He will be remembered for his clarity of thought, generosity of spirit, and deep belief in the power of ideas to create meaningful impact. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.
Himanshu Joshi (EPGP 2012)

Himanshu Joshi, alumnus of the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP 2012) at IIM Bangalore, passed away on 29 January 2025.
Himanshu was part of the IIM Bangalore alumni community through the EPGP and will be remembered by peers and faculty who knew him during his time at the Institute. His passing is a loss to the community.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with them as they grieve this loss.
Prashant Mantravadi (PGP 1988)
We also remember Prashant Mantravadi, a member of the IIM Bangalore alumni community, who passed away in September 2024.
We remember him as part of the IIMB community and hold his family and loved ones close in our thoughts during this difficult time.
Anannya Deb (PGP 1998)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Anannya Deb, alumnus of the PGP Class of 1998 at IIM Bangalore.
Anannya was part of the IIM Bangalore community as a student and alumnus, and is remembered by his batchmates and friends for his individuality, creativity, and the quiet impact he had on those around him. His passing is deeply felt by those who knew him during his time at the Institute and beyond.
