NEMA AI on Shark Tank India Season 3
Shark Tank India is a business reality show where entrepreneurs from across India pitch their start-ups to a panel of investors, known as ‘Sharks’, for potential investment.
Among the start-ups from NSRCEL making waves this season is NEMA AI. As part of NSRCEL’s Women Start-up Program, NEMA AI is India’s first smart AI and neuroscience-based deep tech platform, aimed at identifying neurodiverse students and providing them with tailored education to enhance their employability.
NEMA AI secured a deal of Rs 40 lakh for eight percent equity and Rs 40 lakh in debt at 10 percent interest for three years, with ‘Sharks’ Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh.

Jhansi Laxmi Ugar, a participant from the first cohort of NSRCEL’s Swavalambane, was chosen to be part of the ‘Lakhpati Didi Samvad’ with the Honourable Prime Minister of India at ICAR, Delhi. The ‘Lakhpati Didi’ program, initiated by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, aims to foster economic empowerment and financial independence among women in rural areas.

EcoEra Wins ‘Atal Innovation of the Year 2024 Award’ at GUSEC Annual Awards
EcoEra, a participant in the Women Start-up Program at NSRCEL, was honored with the ‘Atal Innovation of the Year 2024 Award’ at the GUSEC Annual Awards.
EcoEra is dedicated to offering sustainable alternative packaging solutions with its flagship product, EcoFilm. EcoFilm is a compostable packaging film made from seaweed and agricultural residues. It decomposes naturally, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic packaging. Additionally, EcoFilm helps reduce carbon emissions, contributing to environmental sustainability.
Women-led Start-ups Win ‘Elevate Karnataka 2023’ Award
Pentad Education Pvt Ltd and TopGrep Tech Private Limited, participants in the Women Start-up Program, were awarded ‘Elevate Karnataka 2023’.
Pentad Academy, founded by Pentad Education Pvt Ltd, offers learner-centric customized programs based on the Multiple Intelligence Theory for children aged 6 to 16 years.
TopGrep Tech, founded by TopGrep Tech Private Limited, is the world’s first AI-assisted guided lab platform. It provides hands-on lab assessment certifications for quality engineering, along with matching services for hiring.
Winning the ‘Elevate Karnataka 2023’ award highlights the innovative and impactful solutions offered by both Pentad Education Pvt Ltd and TopGrep Tech Private Limited.
