Through its work, Econic champions responsible fashion that supports artisan communities while promoting ecological wellbeing.
AQUAAIRX

AQUAAIRX Autonomous Systems is a deep-tech startup based in Bengaluru that pioneers AI-powered amphibious and autonomous unmanned vehicles capable of seamless transition between air and underwater domains. The company is developing platforms designed for defence, maritime, oil and gas, and search-and-rescue applications, enabling organisations to explore, inspect, and protect coastal and subsea environments with enhanced safety and efficiency. AQUAAIRX’s core technology integrates robotics, artificial intelligence, advanced sensing, and autonomous navigation to deliver actionable intelligence across aerial and underwater realms — eliminating the need for separate vehicles. In early 2026, the firm raised ₹12.5 crore in seed funding led by Rainmatter (Zerodha’s investment arm), with participation from Prime Venture Partners, Wyser Capital and India Accelerator, to accelerate product development, engineering expansion, and defence-grade testing and certification. The venture also gained national visibility through its feature on ZEE5’s Ideabaaz, highlighting its innovative hybrid drone systems.
TRUE Assistive Technology

TRUE Assistive Technology is a Bengaluru-based inclusion-focused startup developing international-standard assistive mobility solutions that enhance independence for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The company’s product portfolio includes swivel seating systems and a range of accessibility devices designed for ease of use, safety, and comfort. TRUE Assistive Technology’s solutions are built around user-centric design principles that prioritise usability without sacrificing quality or safety. One of its flagship innovations — a swivel seat solution co-created with Maruti Suzuki — has been integrated into the new WagonR model and is also available as a retrofit kit for existing vehicles, offering enhanced vehicle access for those with mobility challenges. This innovation was developed under the NSRCEL-IIM Bangalore incubation programme and demonstrates the startup’s commitment to inclusive vehicle design. By collaborating with major industry partners and aligning its work with global accessibility goals, TRUE Assistive Technology is helping bring mainstream mobility solutions to broader audiences.
BYTES

BYTES is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup focused on revolutionising road safety for two-wheelers through AI-powered advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) tailored to the unique dynamics of bikes and scooters. Founded in 2023 and backed by investors including Nikhil Kamath’s WTFund, IIT Mandi Catalyst, NSRCEL-IIM Bangalore and Startup Karnataka, BYTES developed proprietary vision-based safety technology that delivers real-time risk detection, behavioural insights, and rider alerts optimised for dense Indian traffic conditions. Unlike conventional safety systems designed for enclosed vehicles, BYTES’ solutions address constraints such as limited mounting space, power availability, and the unpredictability of rider behaviour. In December 2025, visual telematics and safety intelligence firm Cautio acquired BYTES, integrating its founders and core engineering team into Cautio’s R&D efforts and combining their technology to build a unified, intelligence-driven platform for mobility safety across all vehicle categories. This acquisition marks a key step in scaling AI-driven safety solutions for India’s two-wheeler ecosystem.
