Verdant Impact

Verdant Impact, an AI-driven agritech start-up from NSRCEL’s Impact Orbit program in partnership with Capgemini, has raised $3 million (₹25.4 crore) in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from Infynyte Club, a-IDEA NAARM, and angel investors including Yash Kotak and Alok Soni. The start-up focuses on building a sustainable dairy economy by leveraging AI- and IoT-based Precision Genetics. Its solutions aim to improve livestock productivity, optimize breeding practices, and enhance overall farm efficiency, while ensuring long-term sustainability. By combining advanced technology with agricultural practices, Verdant Impact is working to address key challenges in the dairy sector, including resource optimization and climate resilience. The funding will support product development, scaling operations, and expanding its impact across dairy ecosystems.


VivaMama

VivaMama, a start-up from Cohort 2 of NSRCEL’s Healthcare Incubation Program in partnership with DailyRounds, has been shortlisted for UNICEF’s inaugural Innovation Femtech Ventures cohort. It is among 10 start-ups selected from India and Africa out of more than 1,000 applications. Supported by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Temasek Foundation, the cohort brings together founders building solutions for women’s health. VivaMama is a digital postpartum recovery platform aimed at addressing gaps in maternal care, particularly in urban India. The platform offers AI-powered well-being assessments, personalized recovery plans, access to expert professionals, and a supportive community for new mothers. By focusing on the critical period after childbirth, VivaMama seeks to improve recovery outcomes and overall well-being for women, while bringing greater awareness and structure to postpartum care.


Niral Networks

Niral Networks, part of Cohort 3 of the Sustainable Mobility Incubation Program—an initiative by Alstom in partnership with NSRCEL—is set to deploy the first 5G-based mission-critical network for Indian Railways on the Mathura-Chata corridor. This initiative, in collaboration with Consort Digital, marks a significant step in modernizing railway communication infrastructure in India. Founded in 2019 and based in Bengaluru, Niral Networks specializes in private 5G and edge networking solutions designed for enterprises and critical infrastructure. Its technology enables secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across sectors such as transportation, manufacturing, and logistics. By introducing advanced networking capabilities into railway systems, the company aims to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and real-time communication, supporting the broader digital transformation of India’s transport infrastructure.
