PGP1sā First Glimpse into Life at IIMB: Student-Alumni Meet
4th July 2021: The Student Alumni Committee, in association with Alumni and PGP Office, conducted the virtual section-wise Alumni Interaction Sessions for the 48th PGP and 2nd PGPBA batches of IIM Bangalore. The sessions were graced by 20+ esteemed Alumni from across the years, ranging from the batch of 2016 ā 2019. Each section of 75 students closely interacted with three alumni, each distinguished in their own fields. They gave the newcomers a glimpse into how life at the Place to B might look like, and how to make the most of it. The students found the event incredibly insightful and asked a multitude of questions, ranging from academics-social life balance to future career paths.
At the end of the 90-minute session, the PGP1s had an inkling to as to what their next two years may look like, and how to manage time, perceptions, and expectations, while the alumni thoroughly enjoyed meeting the next generation of business leaders and guiding them.
