PGSEM 2013-15 batch meets @IIMB

The PGSEM batch of 2013-15 met at the IIMB Campus on Sat, 23 Nov. This batch has the distinction of being the last batch of PGSEM before renaming the program to PGPEM! The batch cohort was 34 and we had around 15 alumni who attended the batch get together at the campus. 

S Parthasarathy, Head – Alumni Relations, briefed the alums about the developments at IIMB, alumni relations and development activities. He emphasised the need for closer engagement amongst alumni and also between alumni and the institute. The average number of work experience of the alums was 10 years+. One of the areas that the alumni sought support was career mentoring and guidance especially with respect to taking up leadership roles.

Prof. Gopal Mahapatra, Chairperson PGPEM program, interacted with the alumni and focused on career related concerns of the alumni. He also seeded the thought of giving back to the alma mater. Subsequently, the alumni interacted with Prof. Shankar Venkatagiri.
