IIMBAA Elections Results 2020

IIMBAA Chapter Elections went off smoothly and got over at mid-night of 3rd Aug. We had more than 1630 registered voters and 78 nominees contesting for 28 positions across 7 chapters. We had an average voting participation of 73%. The tenure of the elected office bearers is three years – until 2023. We are excited to welcome the newly elected Chapter Office bearers of IIMBAA.  Hearty congratulations to all the elected alumni and also to all those who contested the elections. This augurs well for IIMBAA and we are looking forward to their contributions in strengthening the IIMB and IIMBAA brand.

We would also like to thank all the voters who enthusiastically participated in the elections. This is perhaps the largest online voting exercise organized by any B-School alumni association (concurrent elections for 7 chapters). The strategizing, planning, and execution has taken almost three months. A special mention and thanks to the alumni office team of Rohini, Sushma, and Ankita who made this possible.

Thanks to IIMBAA trustees (Saif, Harish, Guru, Bhanu, Prof. K Kumar) for extending their support and cooperation in ensuring everything went off smoothly.
