Reunions at IIMB

As we bid adieu to the year 2019, the last month of the year – December saw quite a few reunions across the various batches. The alums came to revisit the campus and rekindle their memories of the days here at IIMB. Many alums also came with their spouses and children to make the reunion even more memorable.

All the alums were welcomed by the Director G Raghuram, Dean – Alumni Relations & Development Prof K Kumar, S Parthasarathy, Head – Alumni relations, K Suresh, Head – Development. The batch alums were briefed on the various developments at IIMB, alumni relations, and development activities. The sessions took place in the new classroom block and the alums were impressed with the swank and plush air-conditioned classrooms! Mr. Partha also mentioned about how alums in their individual capacity and as a group are increasingly stepping forward to fund various initiatives at the campus. Many of the alums came forward to pledge funds under the program of giving back. The alums also shared their views and suggestions, by which students and alums, both, can benefit.

There were various activities/ entertainment arranged for alums which included enjoying a meal in the student canteen, movie streaming at L Square, karaoke night, sports, informal interaction with students,etc.
