Jaideep Nandi, PGP 1990, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Bajaj Consumer Care. Mr. Nandi has been promoted from the role of CEO and will take over as MD from 1st July 2020, effectively. He takes over from Sumit Malhotra, who will step down as the Managing Director.

Sandeep Mahajan, PGP 1993, has been appointed as the Managing Director by Goodyear India. Prior to his role as Goodyear India MD, Mr.Mahajan gathered 29 years of experience with large and well known multinational companies.

Deepika Warrier, PGP 1991, joins Diageo as CMO after 20 years at PepsiCo. In her last role at, PepsiCo, Warrier was helming marketing operations at NourishCo Beverages Limited, a PepsiCo-Tata Global Beverages joint venture since April 2019.

At 44, Warrier is perhaps the country’s only, and PepsiCo’s first official, to head marketing of both foods and beverages.

How small collective actions create a water-secure world – Jyoti Sharma, TEDMED Boston

Jyoti Sharma, PGP 1992, spoke at the prestigious TEDMED platform in Boston. Jyoti, a water Conservationist, spoke about how half of the world is struggling with water scarcity. Jyoti further added, if we each take small collective actions to conserve water and empower fellow community members to do the same, we can create a paradigm shift towards water security worldwide.

Bharat Kundaje, PGP 1977, took part in a month-long musical program in June called the SangeetNitya Concert Series. This Concert Series was online, on Facebook, wherein various vocal artists took part. Bharat is a trained Hindustani Classical musician, he is also adept at semi-classical music forms like devotional, Haveli and Natyasangeet.

Bharat lives in SFO, California and has performed at various concerts at India, Dubai and USA.

MyCaptain: IIMB Incubated online mentoring startup doubled its enrollments after CoVid-19
